www.agendashow.coma good place for streetwear brands to start
asrbiz.com
a good place for board brands to show.
most of these shows are 2000.00 or more to rent a booth and are a rough first experience as you need to design and build your build once you are there.
If anyone is planning on trying one of these out, my suggestions are:
1. have 20-30 different printed graphics
2. design a unique booth that gives a buyer a reason to discover your brand.
3. carpet is not provided so find a fun piece of flooring (carpet, rug, vinyl, cut to your booth space
4. be inviting open and friendly but not a used car salesmen. most buyers are there to see someone else by appointment but will circle back to check out what you've got. they are there for 2-3 days
5. be at your booth the whole show. there are lulls in traffic as different events are taking place and sometimes it can get boring but find a way to occupy your time without being inaccessible.
6. talk to the booths on either side of you they may p along tradeshow tips you will find valuable. I learned an incredible amount from the guy that started Azzure one year.
