What Makes a Good Brand
« on: May 04, 2009, 08:29:03 AM »

Personality:  Work that shows personality allows consumers to connect with it on a more personal level and appreciate its uniqueness

Quality:  This one’s obvious.  Quality work and a quality product will keep customers loyal, and coming back for more.  In other words, double and triple check your work.

Presence:  Be seen!  A great commercial will help get your brand noticed and will bring more traffic to your brand page.

Appropriate Pricing:  A price that best fits your target audience and your level of quality is more likely to move products quickly.

New Products:  A brand that is constantly coming out with new products, and keeping up with trends (or starting them, perhaps) is one that prides itself on high fashion and customer satisfaction

A Good Name:  The name of a brand serves as its foundation, so make it memorable, easy to pronounce, and something that has neutral to positive word ociations (in English and any other language)

Keeping these things in mind should get your brand off to a great start.  Good Luck!  Grin

We really like to see great ideas combined with great art. We aren't necessarily trying to duplicate our look or theme but really just trying to find new and different looks to us.

Oh noes :'( This is going to sound like spam, this is just a self essment test.

I'm a young one man brand. It's hard to bank roll the thing, I have a day job, but I don't want to dip into that to make my brand shine, I would rather let that grow from my client/design contest wins.

Personality: I have some great products these are designs that have for whatever reason been ped up, but I like the guys who made them, so it's an honor to print them.

Presence: I need to work on this My S.E.O. is ok so long as people type in quakerninja ha ha

Pricing: I have them set up at $U.S. 19.99 on AA shirts free shipping in U.S. and a few 25% off discount codes for friends and loyal customers

New products: I fail here. I have only got 4 shirts, I release new ones about once a year.

A good name: Time will tell. If it's not to much to ask of strangers on the internet, what do you think of Quakerninja

Well quakerninja you seem to have struck the exact reason we changed our site.  The winning brand is launched at no expense to its creator.  Kindred does the marketing for the winner and produces, ships and does payment processing for the winner too.  We encourage you to load up your designs here and get your friends to help you out  by voting.

I think you have to pick a general theme or something different from everybody else to make it your own some how.

How do you decide to go with mostly graphics or mostly logos?  Some of these seem to be just art.

I like graphic tees more but I think branded is okay if it's not a boring logo tee.

I don't care as long as it looks cool.  I always liked Johnny cupcakes line but never got into the affliction thing.

Less branding is okay with me.  I don't need 200 LV's all over my shirt
